PBTIL - Students from Lowell and Methuen Public Schools have started publishing their work as part of the Project Based Technology Integrated Learning grant with University of Massachusetts, Lowell.

The purpose of this three year project is to create a new setting for learning and to further develop innovative and effective curriculum models, instructional strategies, and assessment components that will ultimately improve instruction for LEP students.

With the help of their teachers, Mrs. Rodriguez (classroom teacher), Mrs. Murray (art specialist) and Mrs. Mazzone (classroom assistant) students have engaged in inquiry based activities in science, language arts, and art. Their writings, drawings, creations in ClarisWorks, and photos of their sculture have been published as part of the Integrating Technology in the Inquiry Based Classroom course.
