Community Ties

Science Workshop

Science Workshop

On February 7th parents attended a science workshop. This workshop had many centers where parents had the opportunity to do different activities with their children.

In one of the centers the parents made a tornado with soda bottles. In another center the students and their parents compared snow and water using a balance.

They also checked different materials to see if the materials were waterproof or not. Another center provided different science books. Every parent had the opportunity to visit each center.

Computer Workshop

On April 6 Mrs. Gervais and Mrs. Curley offered and Internet workshop for parents. Parents logged on different Internet parent sites. Parents viewed more than 10 sites. Parents also had the opportunity to view their children's work on the PBTIL site. It was a great experience for them.
