The Spectacled Owl

This paragraph will describe the Spectacled Owl. The weight of a Spectacled Owl is (16-24oz) for the male and (24-32oz) for the female, and the size of a normal Spectacled Owl is 17-18'' tall or about 43-46cm.The color of a Spectacled Owl is brown with a white and yellow belly,and white spots on it's neck and face. A Spectacled Owl's voice sounds like pup-pup-pup-pup-po and gets quicker when they do it. They have white spectacles around there yellow eyes and that's how they got there name. Those are some descriptions of a Spectacled owl.

These are habitats of a Spectacled owl. A Spectacled Owl sometimes live in the Rain forest, Woodland, or near water. They mostly make their homes in South America and Latin America.

These are examples of what a Spectacled owl eats how they hunt and when they hunt. The Spectacled owl eats skunks,bats,birds, and other small mammals. Spectacled Owls hunt by perching on their tree and survey the area for small rodents. A Spectacled Owl is not very willing to hunt at night, but will hunt in early morning and afternoon. Those are examples of what a Spectacled owl eats and how they hunt and when they hunt.

Spectacled Owls breed to make babies. A Spectacled owl lays about 1-2 eggs a month. Spectacled owls mostly lay there eggs in South America. The Spectacled Owl lays their eggs in the dry season. Those are examples of a Spectacled owls breeding.
