The Great Horned Owl lays their eggs to breed. It takes 26 to 35 days to hatch from eggs. Both of the parents incubate, protect, and keep the eggs warm. When an animal tries to eat their eggs, the owls attack until they are dead or have drifted off. They lay 3 to 4 eggs. The male and female take care of the children.
