Adopt-A-Tree

Adopt-A-TreeMy tree is new yet 20 years old.
I cannot hurt it because its colors are so bold.
It blooms the prettiest, greatest flowers of all.
Until this season comes, its name is fall.
The petals fall; fall to the ground
and the leaves say "bye"
and they say it with a frown.
Then the leaves start to change, change bold and bright.
And before you know it there are 40 leaves on the ground after night.
Orange, red, yellow, and more.
And now it's in its fall uniform as I close the door.

Allison's TreeAllison

My tree is 18 ft tall

or 216 inches.

It is equal to 4 Allisons

Some parts of the tree are red,

but most of it is green.

Birch Tree

BirchTreeThe Birch tree I picked to watch hasn't changed much, but some leaves have changed from a grean to a yellow color.

My tree has also lost about twenty to thirty more leaves. It lost that many leaves because it is autumn now and the weather is getting colder.

Colder temperatures cause the trees to go into sleep mode for the winter and stop producing chlorophyll. With no chlorophyll the leaves loose their green color and turn bright red, yellow, and orange before they fall to the ground.

As autumn continues I think my tree will turn mostly yellow before it loses its leaves.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth's TreeI can notice that the leaves are turning brown and yellow.
I think that 20 more leaves have fallen.
So I would say that 34 have fallen off.
If I oculd name my tree I would name it Elizabeth.
Why? Because that is my favorite name.
That's what I have to say about my tree.

I Thank God

Thankful TreeFor flowers that bloom about our feet,
For tender grass so fresh and sweet, for the song
Of bird and hum of bee. For all things fair we
Hear or see, Father in Heaven, I thank all the trees,
And a special thanks for my pear tree.

My Tree

My TreeA leaf = 3 inches,
And 1 1/4 toothpicks

Long Twig = 30 centimeters,
Me - Right below my knee.

To the First Branch = 90 centimeters
Me ‚ Beginning of my chest

To the Top Branch = 7 feet and 8 inches
Me ‚ 1 and 1/2 of me

- Mandi

My tree is lovely and so sweet

It has to have grown at least 50 feet
Lots of leaves and roots far in the ground.
It has to be the best tree around!
With its leaves, branches, and its bark,
It is way better than the one in the park.

This fall about 90 leaves have fallen because I see lots of bare branches in the tree.

The Tree with a Heart

Tree with a Heart I know a tree with a heart
A very sweet heart
The heart in the tree,
Is very special to me.
I love the tree,
The tree loves me.
I adore that tree,
And the tree adores me.
That's why I love
That tree made just for me.
