Hot Cranberry Cider

  • 3 qts apple cider
  • 1 qt cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 oranges, pierced with fork
  • 16 cloves
  • 6 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 tsp whole allspice
  • 1/4 cup sugar, opt (for sweeter taste)
Place cider, cranberry juice and sugar in a large (30 cup) percolator. Put pierced oranges, cloves, cinnamon and allspice in the top basket and perk as for coffee.
After cider has perked, add the additional sugar, if desired.
Makes 32 four ounce servings

Weight Watchers Lo-Calorie Punch

  • 1 1/2 qts lo-cal cranberry juice
  • 1 pkg nutra sweet lemonade powder
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
Put ingredients into a 1 gallon container - now fill the container the remainder of the way with water. Shake to mix. Fill and 8 ox glass 1/2 full with the mixture - now fill the rest of the way with water. Serve over ice or hot with a cinnamon stick.

Cranberry Apple Spritzer

  • 2 cups chilled apple juice
  • 1 cup chilled cranberry-apple juice drink
  • 1 cup chilled sparkling sparkling water
Mix all ingredients. Serve over ice. Garnish with apple slices and fresh mint if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
