Integrating Technology into the Inquiry Based Classroom (Meeting the Massachusetts Frameworks)Teachers will use various types and levels of technology to promote learner centered, inquiry based activities in their classes. The course meets the standards of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Readings and activities will deal with the needs of a diverse student population and especially those of second language learners. Readings will be from on-line sources and teachers will have the opportunity to participate in an on-line discussion forum to share ideas.The final project will consist of the electronic publishing of students' materials and teachers' lesson plans. (Teachers who have students without sufficient ability in English may submit students' materials in the native language.) Technical support will be available throughout the course.
